The Meraki Mini Outdoor is a powerful wireless networking tool that can withstand all of the elements and harsh weather conditions that this planet throws at it. So it’s tough in that respect. But it has one huge downfall.
It’s addicted to muffins.
This isn’t so bad, we guess. But did you know that muffins aren’t very good for you in general? They may seem like a healthy alternative to, say, a donut or a danish or some other elaborate sugary pastry. In reality, however, eating a muffin in the morning is basically the equivalent of eating a slice of cake for breakfast. While we aren’t saying we’re above eating cake for breakfast, or that we’ve never done that before (or would never do it again), but if you eat it too often it’s going to have side effects.
But the Meraki Mini Outdoor seems to be keeping its compact figure either way, so it must be doing something right. The muffin addiction doesn’t have an effect on any of its state of the art features, such as the external 2dBi antenna: 300-750ft (100-250m) radius, the 802.11 b/g (1-54 Mbps) wireless protocols, the radio with +18dBm transmission power, and the External RP-SMA connector with internal diversity antenna. All of that stuff is A-OK.
We’re just worried about its well-being sometimes. That’s all. So if you buy one, could you try to curb it off the muffins for us? We’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
