We’ve found a strange and wonderful secret about the Cisco 7941G IP Phone (2 x RJ-45 10/100Base-TX - Wall Mountable). If you dial a specific sequence of numbers* on this desk phone’s keypad, it can transport you to an alternate reality in which everyone looks just like Academy Award winner and social activist Susan Sarandon. We call it the Sarandon-verse, and we don’t suggest staying their for too long because you’ll scare everyone since - let’s face it - you don’t resemble Susan Sarandon whatsoever. (Unless you actually are Susan Sarandon. In which case, congratulations and hi there.)
This something we never thought an office phone would ever be capable of. Yet Cisco 7941G IP Phone does indeed open up portals to the Sarandon-verse. It can do other stuff, too. Like make phone calls. (Go figure.) It has a 320 x 222 high-resolution graphical 4-bit grayscale display. It also has support for IEEE standard 802.3af inline power and support for double-byte characters and Unicode text to benefit Extensible Markup Language (XML) developers. But that’s kind of standard for IP phones, isn’t it?
What makes the Cisco 7941G IP Phone particular so unique is that it gives you the power to peer into a world inhabited by Susan Sarandons of all ages, races, and nationalities. We sometimes wonder how the the Sarandon-verse began, where it came from, how it came to be. According to our team of researchers, the combined humanitarian efforts that the Susan Sarandon of this world set into motion were so powerful it caused a massive wave of energy that caused another big bang of sorts on the astral plane, thus creating a world in which everyone gets a chance to be a goodwill amabassador for UNICEF. What do you think?
